What materials are used for your jewelry?
Jewellers brass, Sterling Silver, Titanium, Gold Vermeil, re-purposed rope, responsibly sourced stones, and more. If you have any allergies or skin sensitivities, please check the details of the item prior to purchase.
How do I care for my purchase?
Please refer to the care guide listed online or in your package for your purchase. General guidelines are included below:
- Use a soft, clean cloth to remove debris or residue and maintain shine.
- Do not expose to water, chlorine, makeup, lotion, or perfume. Remove before going to the beach or exercising.
- Store in a safe, dry, cool place such as an anti-tarnish bag.
- To best protect your jewelry, each piece should be individually placed in the included pouch or soft-lined box to keep it from being scratched or tangled.
In addition, see below for specific materials:
- Gold Vermeil: Due to environmental factors, vermeil jewelry is prone to tarnish with time. Clean your pieces regularly to avoid tarnish. Please note: Polishing cloths can be abrasive, so apply gentle pressure and don’t over-polish. Do not use steam cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners on vermeil jewelry.
- Rope and Beaded Jewelry: Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap. Dip a clean cloth in the water and gently wipe.
Pouches/ Handbags/Accessories: Spot clean only. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap. Dip a clean cloth in the water and gently wipe.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes, select items can be made in various sizes. Please send us a message directly at hello@petiteprotea.com. Custom orders are final sale and may not be returned for refund or store credit.

Shipping
Can I cancel or update my order? Can I change my shipping address?
We work to get every order dispatched as soon as possible, so we are unable to guarantee cancellation requests or changes. Please email us at hello@petiteprotea.com, and we will do our best to accommodate.
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are generally processed within 2 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, and extenuating circumstances.
The shipping timeline selected at checkout is approximate. This does not include processing time, weekends, holidays or any unforeseeable delays with the courier (weather, volume, traffic, etc). Petite Protea cannot be held liable for shipping timelines. Expedited shipping is available for most destinations.

What is your shipping policy?
The shipping fee is assessed based on the subtotal before taxes and is non-refundable.
At this moment, we are shipping within the US and Canada only. We apologize for any inconvenience to customers located outside of these destinations.
Deliveries outside of the US may be subject to additional customs duties and service fees. Please note that Petite Protea is not liable for these costs, does not have any control over them, and cannot advise as to what the cost will be. For more information, please contact your local customs office. Petite Protea is not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery.
My tracking number hasn’t updated. My shipment is damaged or hasn’t arrived. What do I do?
Please allow time for the package to be scanned into the courier’s system and reflect activity. If your package appears to be delayed, lost, damaged, or mis-delivered, please contact us at hello@petiteprotea.com for assistance.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong merchandise, so that we can assess the concern and make it right. Please do not dispose of the merchandise or packaging unless instructed to do so. Disposal of the damaged merchandise or packaging without our authorization may void any damage claim, and no credit or replacement will be issued.
The buyer is responsible for entering a correct and valid address for delivery. If the delivery address was input incorrectly, please notify us by email at hello@petiteprotea.com.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return or exchange my purchase?
We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after the delivery date of your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging (including pouch/bag, box, etc.). Merchandise must be free of make-up, deodorant, perfume, and/or any other stain. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We reserve the right to deny a refund if the merchandise does not meet these parameters.
How do I return or exchange my purchase?
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@petiteprotea.com to obtain a return authorization. Please include your order number, a note detailing the items you wish to return, and the reason for return for each item.
If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item.
What is your return shipping and refund policy?
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. The cost of shipping will be deducted from the amount being refunded to you. Please utilize the original shipping and packaging materials for your return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
How long does it take to get a refund?
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
